SSNR19 is dedicated to provide a respectful experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Participants or others involved in school activities who violate this anti-harassment policy may be expelled from the event at the discretion of the organizers. Harassment and other bad behaviour reduces the value of the event for everyone.

Unacceptable behaviour

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination, such as comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion
  • Sexual images in public spaces
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome sexual attention
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome because of inappropriate behaviour, please report it as soon as possible to a conference staff member or to the following email address info@summerschoolneurorehabilitation.org
